HJM - High School Hockey

Participation in high school related athletics can be a key ingredient in a well-rounded educational experience. Involvement in sports provides opportunities for student-athletes to grow as a result of their interaction with other people and other students.

The mission of HJM - High School Hockey is to provide not only safe and healthy development of its participants, but to provide an environment that fosters teamwork, fellowship, sportsmanship and continued skill development. Our coaching staff’s goals are to maintain a positive learning environment that develops both individual skills and team play. In addition, it is our hope that by participating in an athletic sport that is associated with HJM High School Hockey we will instill the qualities of teamwork, school pride, work ethic, responsibility, discipline and important lifelong lessons in our student-athletes.

HJM is pleased to officially announce the hiring of Joe Fell as the Hockey Director and Head Coach
Joe has 20 years of coaching experience at all levels Mite thru Midget and High School including coaching at the Rockford Hockey Club and the Rockford Icemen.

 Six seasons as Coach for the Rockford Icemen Combined High School team.

 Six seasons as Coach for Rockford Icemen Midget NIHL & CSDHL teams.

 Six time State Tournament winner, Combined High School Division.

 2011 Midget CSDHL Regular Season & Playoff Champions

 Two time NIHL champions and two time NIHL runner up.

 2010 undefeated Midget Major and Presidents Cup Winner.

 2 Time High School All Star Coach.
